Security Analyst

Location: Dublin | Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Salary: €48,000 – €58,000 DOE

A fast-growing technology organisation is hiring a Security Analyst to strengthen its threat detection and response capabilities. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple security tools, supporting the protection of core systems and data in a dynamic enterprise environment.

The Role
You’ll monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts while supporting ongoing improvements to detection and prevention processes. The position is ideal for someone eager to deepen their expertise in cybersecurity operations and threat analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security alerts across multiple platforms.
• Support investigation and containment of security incidents.
• Maintain and tune security detection rules and automated responses.
• Assist with policy updates, access control reviews, and compliance checks.
• Work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to strengthen overall posture.
• Document incidents and contribute to security awareness initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years’ experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security roles.
• Strong understanding of security principles, logs, and threat indicators.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, or network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols, encryption, and access management.
• Strong analytical mindset with good communication and documentation skills.
